Overview
At Amor Energy, we have proudly partnered with strata councils and property managers across the Lower Mainland, delivering reliable and regulation-compliant Electrical Planning Reports (EPRs). As part of CleanBC initiative, all strata corporations are legally required to complete an EPR by December 31, 2026. Our expert team of licensed electrical engineers (P.Eng) is here to help you meet this requirement with confidence and ease.
An Electrical Planning Report is a comprehensive assessment of your building’s current electrical infrastructure. It evaluates your existing electrical capacity, identifies limitations, and outlines actionable options for future upgrades—especially for heating, cooling, and EV charging readiness.
As a BC Hydro Alliance member of energy professionals, we bring proven credentials and field experience to every project. Our licensed electricians work seamlessly with our in-house Professional Engineers (P.Eng.), blending practical expertise with technical precision.
*ONLY a P.Eng. can legally sign and certify an EPR report in BC*, and we ensure every report we deliver meets the highest standard of professionalism and regulatory accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
An EPR provides a comprehensive assessment of your building’s electrical system, including:
- Current electrical service size and layout
- How much electrical capacity is currently being used
- How much room there is for future loads, such as for EV charging stations, electric heat pumps, and other energy-efficient systems
- Actionable recommendations regarding the current electrical systems
ALL strata corporations in British Columbia must complete an EPR by the end of 2026 as part of the CleanBC initiative. It is not optional, and buildings that do not complay may face penalties.
ONLY a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng) can prepare and stamp a valid EPR. At Amor Energy, all reports are reviewed and signed by certified engineers to ensure full compliance.
Prices typically range from $3,000 to $5,000, depending on the size and complexity of the building. Costs may increase over time due to rising demand and engineering workload, so early planning is highly recommended.
Not fully. An EPR may assess EV charging capacity, but a separate EV-ready plan is often needed for specific stall upgrades and rebate applications. We offer bundle deal for getting both the EPR and EV-ready plan done for your building!
