EV Ready Plan preparation An EV Ready plan is a professional document prepared by a licensed electrical contractor and/or electrical engineer that includes details about how your building will provide each residential unit with at least one EV ready parking space. Strata or building owners that hire a licensed electrical contractor or electrical engineer to create their EV Ready plan can receive a rebate of up to 75% of the costs of creating the plan, to a maximum of $3,000, while funding lasts. An EV Ready plan is required in order to be eligible for an EV Ready infrastructure rebate.

  • - Install 5 - 200A-rated EVSE dedicated panels in the building’s main electrical room and two new electric rooms to be located in lower parkade. 2 in the main electrical room, 3 in the lower parkade. - EVSE panels will be fed from the current 800A 208V EV distribution. - Two transformers are needed to step the power up from current 800A feeder’s 208V to 600V and connect to two connecting transformers in the lower parkade to step it down from 600V to 208 - From EVSE panels branch out to 97 stalls and install blank EV junction box for later connection to EV chargers. Use of junction boxes of various sizes and conduits.
